Reading and Writing Centre
The Reading and Writing programme encompasses short-term and long-term courses like writing in the disciplines, peer writing and comprehensive reading. Drawing upon a range of text as a springboard, we will explore how language, power, and history intersect, and how writing can be used both to reflect and to intervene. A selection of academic writings, essays, and media texts will be used to cultivate analytical precision and conceptual clarity. Through regular writing assignments, peer discussions, workshops, visual reading and feedback sessions, students will learn to sharpen their capacity to interrogate assumptions, texts and contexts.
