This course is designed as a comprehensive introduction to the academic understanding of Islam through various disciplines such as social anthropology, literature, philosophy, theology, and Islamic studies, orienting new directions for scholarly inquiry. Introduction to Visual Storytelling Lights, Camera, Action!

This immersive course is designed for young storytellers to craft compelling visuals and bring ideas to life using cinematic techniques. Through hands-on activities, students will explore editing, storyboarding, camera angles, and the art of pacing and shot choices. They’ll learn to transform a simple idea into a visual masterpiece. By the end of the course, students will have created their own script and storyboard, ready to bring their stories to the screen. This course is a perfect introduction for curious minds who love movies and storytelling and want to see their creativity shine.

Critical Reading and Writing

This course is designed to help students become stronger readers and writers by exploring how texts work. Using selected texts as a starting point, students will dive into its themes, language, and structure to better understand the craft of storytelling and argument. Through activities like peer reading, group discussions, and comprehension exercises, they’ll build critical thinking and writing skills. By the end of the course, students will not only read more deeply but also express their own ideas more clearly and creatively in writing.
