Leaven Scholar
The Leaven Scholar program is more than academic guidance—an alchemy of mentorship. Evoking the metaphor of leaven, an agent that works methodically and decisively, this program blends scholarship with tailored guidance. We mentor a highly selective cohort of students to develop a customized plan that harnesses intellectual, technological, and networking skills, enabling successful careers in their chosen fields. Our team involves established researchers, faculty, and professionals from leading institutions who act as catalysts, helping students refine their ideas, hone critical perspectives, and engage with theories and skills. Our mentorship program supports Academic research, Art and Media and Community Engagement Initiatives. The goal is not just admission to prestigious institutions, but the cultivation of minds that will leave a mark in their fields.
Research Training Program
Research Training Program is designed for aspiring researchers who aim to enter leading doctoral programs while cultivating a sustained engagement with academic life. Guided by post-doctoral fellows, PhD scholars, and researchers from top institutions, the program focuses on developing the sensibilities and skills needed to make original and rigorous contributions to one’s field. Intended for students who have completed a Master’s degree or are at the beginning of their PhD, it offers training in identifying research areas, critical reading, academic writing, and the refinement of independent ideas. Participants also gain practical expertise in research software, presentation techniques, and fieldwork methods such as data collection and community engagement. Combining close mentorship with both theoretical learning and hands-on practice, the program prepares scholars to be intellectually grounded, critically engaged, and attentive to the broader social and ethical dimensions of research.
